Hi,
I havent seen a way to do this, but it would be nice to be able to associate roles with a specific subsystem and then when you export the menu entries for that subsystem to have the record in mnu_role and the entries in mnu_role_taskfield included.

A role is never associated with just a single subsystem. It is associated with individual tasks on the ROLE_TASK table, and therefore may be linked with tasks from any number of subsystems.

When the Export Subsystem task is run it will export every task within that subsystem, and it will also export every ROLE_TASK entry for each task within that subsystem.

Is this not sufficient?

I've never noticed that the task_role entries are exported with the subsystem exports.

Absoultly that should be sufficent.
