Error while connecting to PostgreSQL from WindowsXP [message #821]

I have installed postgreSQL 8.2 in windowsXP system and tried to connect to it after exporting all the schemas to the database radicore. Then an error message like the following occured.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function pg_connect() in c:\wamp\www\radicore1.24\includes\dml.pgsql.class.inc on line 145. Kindly help me to solve the problem.
