time splits and workitems [message #217]

If I have a OR-SPLIT-I where my token has been created at this place, and one transition is (of course) a TIME trigger, and the other is a USER trigger, does Radicore create a workitem for both transitions?

Yes, but as soon as one of them is fired it cancels the other one.

If you look at example #2 in /radicore/workflow/docs/workflow-examples.html you will see what I mean. Transition T1 is fired by a user, transition T3 is fired on a timer. If the user does not fire T1 before the timer on T3 kicks in, then T1 is cancelled.
