HELLO SIR
I have a doubt.I did dropdownlist for some data.If I selected one item from dropdown and entered data into table.Next time I don't want to see which item I selected.which function is use? .
could you help me?

I do not understand what you are trying to achieve. If you create a database record with certain values it is normal practice, when returning to view or modify that record, to see the current values. What would be the point of *NOT* showing the user the current data?

hello sir.
i did dropdown for update data.if i update data.then i don't want to see the same data again in dropdown.what will i do for that one.

You haven't answered my question. Why do you WaNt to return to a record and NOT see the data that you last entered? It is not logical.

sorry for distrubing.
i made dropdown in list2.if i select one item from dropdown and added to table.then i want to see that item only in list1.i din't want to see that item in list 2 again.this was my question

If you wish to remove items from a dropdown list before it is displayed then you must edit the contents of the list before it is loaded into $this->lookup_data. See step 3 in FAQ09 for details.
