Tony,

How can I have a "field" in the search screen (input field) and in the QuickSearch Bar (listed field) to search
all searchable fields of the task's table at the same time (concatenated with a space between them)?
This field is only intended for search purposes and not for display in any other screen (list, enquire, delete, etc.)
The preferable method for doing searches in it would be a regular pattern match. In most cases the desired behaviour would
be to do one of this searches:
%needle%
%needle1%needle2%

Thanks of answering the previous question, and thanks in advance for this one.

The simple answer is that you can't. If you want to do such a thing then you will have to do it manually.

Any suggestions for where to start?
Perhaps for something more humble, as how to search in two fields at the same time such as CONCAT(name, surname)?

Thanks.

You first have to build the SQL query that does what you want, then get the framework to use that query.
