It would appear that an upgrade to the FUDforum software which I made some while ago introduced a bug which caused the registration of new members to fail. Nobody reported this to me, so I wasn't aware that it needed fixing. However, I noticed a problem in another part of the application which was causing issues in several places, and after a bit of investigation I found the issue and fixed it (I hope!). New members should no longer have an issue when confirming their email address.
