About half of my search tasks in mnu_task have the pattern_id set to 'SEARCH' and the other half have 'SRCH'.
I may have missed something in an upgrade. All of the ones set to 'SEARCH' have a created_date before 2007-01-27. But I have 2 with pattern_id='SRCH' created_date in 2006.

Just checking before I modify the database...should I set all my search tasks pattern_id to 'SRCH'?

I don't know where the pattern_id of 'SEARCH' came from as I have only ever used 'SRCH', so you should change your database to use this value.
