I just dicovered that after creating transactions, if you modify the name of a field, the export php function doesn't change the names of the fields in the existing .screen.inc files, so you have to manually change the name in the .screen.inc files.
Wouldn't it be possible to make this automatically?

I'm afraid not. After the <table>.screen.inc file is created it is never amended, so any changes have to be made by hand. This is so that any customisations you may have made are not lost.
