Since the introduction of the ability to login by email address the error message on incorrect login is changed if an invalid email address is entered.

The system used to report "Security Violation" on invalid user id, but now reports "No value has been supplied for the encryption key" on invalid email address. The error message is still correct for an incorrect password.

You are correct, this is a bug. This is fixed in the attached file which also contains all unissued updates.
