It may be a good time to ask for "continental" Europe date support (dd.mm.yyyy). I did not get this to work with the system, when I first installed it.

Currently I apply a change to method getExternalDate in class date_class (file std.datevalidation.class.inc) with every release I install to get this to work for me.
It would certainly be better to have this support as part of the base code.

Let me have a copy of your modifications and I'll put it in the next release.
