AJM,
I have this tables:
-team
-player
-player_team_xref

Players are assigned to teams through a multi2 - add3 - popup1 transaction.

I want to filter the list of players in the popup1 list so that only the players whose age is in the range of the team category are displayed.

Is there any similar example that I can take a look at?

You can modify the $where string which is sent to the popup by putting code in the _cm_popupCall() method, as documented in the FAQ.
